Progressive Longboards
Progressive longboarding is for those who want the paddle power and stability of a 9-footer without sacrificing maneuverability. With more rocker, rails that taper toward the tail, and a 2+1 setup, the board responds when you step back, while still catching waves early.
There are three models. Magic, Lufi Bento's first shape, is the bridge between a shortboard and a longboard. Sea Devil, the narrowest and fastest in the line, is made for waves over half a meter. Sea Captain is the middle ground between the two.
If you're still not sure if your surfing style calls for progressive or classic, our classic vs. progressive guide will help you decide before you buy. To see the entire line side-by-side, check out our longboards.
The 2+1 setup depends on the center fin you choose, allowing you to fine-tune the board's performance. The options are in our fin collection.
