Longboards

Longboard, or longboard surfboard, is a surfboard 9 feet and up, made for early paddling, gliding far, and letting you walk to the nose. These are Lufi shapes, from 9'0" to 9'10" and 64 to 81 liters, designed and hand-shaped by Lufi Bento.

Classics for those who want nose riding and long lines: The One, One Piece, Noosa Secret, California Dream, La Union, and Gladiator. Progressive boards for those who want tail response: Magic, Sea Devil, and Sea Captain.

Choose the shape first. For each model, you finalize dimensions, volume, blank, stringer, color, and finish with us via WhatsApp, and the board is made for your weight and the waves you surf. If you don't know your volume, we'll explain how to measure a longboard.

If you're in a hurry, right below are our ready-to-ship longboards, with length, width, thickness, and volume already set in each spec sheet. And if you're looking to start without spending the price of a new one, our used and pre-owned boards range between R$ 3,000 and R$ 4,000.

Once the board is sorted, the fin is the next adjustment, and it changes your surfing more than switching shapes.

What is the ideal longboard size for me?

Start with the weight: the more weight, the more volume needed to paddle effortlessly. Lufi longboards range from 9'0" to 9'10" and 64 to 81 liters. Beginners usually do better at the higher end of the liter range, while those who have been surfing for years tend to go down, because less volume responds faster. What is the difference between a classic and a progressive longboard?

The classic has a soft rocker, full rail, and a single fin, and was designed for noseriding, for time spent standing at the front of the board. The progressive has a more pronounced rocker and accommodates a center fin with side bites, which allows for maneuvers from the tail. This is not a skill-level scale: they are two different types of surfing, and the choice is about which one you want to do.
