ABOUT THE MODEL

The One was born after a trip Lufi took to Malibu, watching the best single-fin noseriders in the world. The goal was simple: long hang tens in the critical part of the wave and easy passage through dead sections. It has a nose concave to lock your foot in at the front and a double concave from the middle to the tail, which is what maintains speed when the wave opens up. It’s the board that has appeared most on classic longboard podiums.

This unit is a 9'4" with 73 liters.

And it's PU, which changes the way it rides. PU is denser than EPS, so this board comes in at 8.2 kg. This weight works in your favor on the nose: it holds the trim, crosses dead sections without losing speed, and prevents the board from being tossed around by the wind or chop. It’s the classic longboard glide. A cedar stringer runs through the inside, and PU flexes more than EPS, so the board responds under your feet rather than feeling stiff.

Concave at the tip
