ABOUT THE MODEL

The California Dream is the easiest longboard to ride in the lineup. The body's shift in weight initiates the turn, so there's no need to force anything. Lufi shaved an inch off the tail width and tweaked the water release, giving a board that remains forgiving a quick response and fast rail-to-rail transitions. It's the classic Californian shape, with the adjustments he made to keep it from feeling sluggish.

This unit is a 9'4" with 74.2 liters.

It's made of PU, which changes the way it rides. PU is denser than EPS, so this board comes in at 8.7 kg. That weight works in its favor at the nose: it holds its trim, carries through dead sections without losing speed, and keeps the board from being tossed around by wind or chop. It's that classic longboard glide. It features three parallel cedar stringers inside, and because PU flexes more than EPS, the board responds under your feet rather than feeling rigid.

Polished finish, Futures single fin box. One unit only, ready to ship.

Narrow square tail

Lufi took an inch off the width, and that's what gives it that quick rail-to-rail transition.

Pronounced concave

It keeps your foot on the toe box without you needing to force anything.

Parallel outline

It keeps the board forgiving even with the narrower tail.

So easy that just shifting your body weight is enough to make turns.
