ABOUT THE MODEL

The California Dream is the easiest longboard to ride in the lineup. The body weight distribution handles the turns for you; you don't need to force anything. Lufi took an inch off the tail width and tweaked the water release, which gave this forgiving board quick responsiveness and rail-to-rail transitions. It is the classic Californian shape, with adjustments he made to keep it from feeling sluggish.

This unit is a 9'2" with 72.1 liters.

It is made of PU, which changes the way it rides. PU is denser than EPS, so this board comes in at 8 kg. This weight works in its favor at the nose: it holds the trim, glides through flat sections without losing speed, and prevents the board from being tossed around by the wind or choppy water. It is the classic longboard glide. It features a basswood stringer, and because PU flexes more than EPS, the board responds under your feet instead of feeling rigid.

Matte finish, Futures center fin box. One unit only, ready to ship.

Narrow square tail

Lufi took an inch off the width, and that's what gives it that quick rail-to-rail transition.

Pronounced concavity

It supports your foot at the toe without you needing to force anything.

Parallel outline

It keeps the board forgiving even with the narrower tail.

So easy that just shifting your body weight is enough to make turns.
