ABOUT THE MODEL

The One Piece evolved from The One. Lufi narrowed the tail and tweaked the nose, which changed the way it surfs: rail-to-rail transitions became faster and the cutback now responds instantly, without sacrificing the nose stability that The One is known for. It’s for those who already ride the nose and want to surf the entire wave, not just the front of it.

This unit is a 9'6" with 74 liters.

And it's PU, which changes how it rides. PU is denser than EPS, so this board comes in at 8.7 kg. That weight works in favor of nose riding: it holds the trim, glides through flat sections without losing speed, and keeps the board from being tossed around by wind or choppy water. It’s the classic longboard glide. It features a cedar stringer running through the middle, and PU flexes more than EPS, so the board responds under your feet rather than feeling stiff.
