RECOMMENDED FIN

In the 2+1 setup, the Longboard 2+1 7" Fin Set includes the center fin and the two side fins. To make the center fin smaller and looser for transitions, swap it for the Middy Center 8" Fin.

ABOUT THE MODEL

The Mini Disk came out of a Lufi trip to Australia. It is a mid-length with the paddling power of a longboard and the performance of a shortboard. The bottom features a single concave through the middle that transitions into a double concave toward the round pin tail, and it accepts various fin combinations, so its personality changes depending on what you set up.

This unit is a 6'6" with 46.4 liters.

It is made of EPS, which changes the way it rides. EPS is lighter and floats more per liter, so this board comes in at 4.6 kg and paddles like it’s a few inches longer. It helps on small wave days and for those still building their paddle strength. Inside runs a wood stringer, which is what gives stiffness back to a lighter blank. In exchange for the weight, you lose a little bit of flex, and it chatters more when the water is choppy.
